Scripture Reference:
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” – Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV)

The Path of Least Resistance is the tendency to choose the easiest route, avoiding challenges or difficult decisions. While this approach may feel comfortable in the short term, it often leads to stagnation and mediocrity in business and life. True success comes from choosing the harder, more intentional path—one that requires discipline, perseverance, and faith.

Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7:13-14 warns us that the easiest path is not always the best one. The broad road may be comfortable, but it leads to destruction, while the narrow path, though difficult, leads to life. This principle applies to business as well. It’s easy to cut corners, avoid difficult conversations, or settle for average work, but real growth happens when we push beyond our comfort zones.

Great entrepreneurs and leaders don’t take the easy way out—they embrace challenges, take calculated risks, and pursue excellence. Instead of following the crowd, they choose the narrow path of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. In business and in faith, resisting the path of least resistance leads to long-term success and fulfillment.

By intentionally rejecting the path of least resistance and choosing discipline, we set ourselves up for lasting success—both in business and in our walk with God.
