Scripture Reference:“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’” – Matthew 25:21 (NKJV)

The Law of Leverage states that small efforts, when applied strategically, can lead to significant results. This principle is clearly seen in Jesus’ Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), where the servants who multiplied their resources were rewarded with even more. In business, leveraging time, skills, relationships, and resources allows us to grow and maximize our impact.

Many entrepreneurs try to do everything themselves, leading to exhaustion and slow progress. However, wise business owners understand the power of delegation, automation, and partnerships. Just as a lever can move a heavy load with minimal effort, leveraging the right systems and people can amplify our success without unnecessary strain.

Consider how Jesus operated. He didn’t carry out His ministry alone—He empowered His disciples to spread the gospel, ensuring that His work continued long after His earthly ministry. In the same way, we should seek ways to multiply our impact through delegation, collaboration, and wise investments. When we steward our opportunities well, God entrusts us with even greater influence.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What areas of your business or work could benefit from delegation or automation?
  1. Are you trying to do everything on your own, and how could leveraging resources help you grow?
  1. How can you apply the principle of faithfulness in small things to prepare for greater opportunities?
